Shortcuts in Reports.re let you quickly access most-used elements like cards, jobs, chats, folders, and files without needing to search for them every time. All your shortcuts are collected in the Shortcut tab located in the top navigation bar.
Follow the steps below to set and manage your shortcuts.
1. Access the Shortcut Panel
- Go to the top navigation bar and hover on the Shortcut tab (star icon).
- The panel will show all your shortcuts once they are added.
- If you haven’t added any yet, it will appear empty.
2. Add a Shortcut to a Card
- Hover over or open the card you want to add.
- Click the three-dot menu on the card.
- Select "Shortcut" from the dropdown.
3. Add a Shortcut to a Job
- Find the job from the job list or open the job view.
- Click the three-dot menu.
- Select "Shortcut" to add it.
4. Add a Shortcut to a Chat
- Open the chat or find it in your chat list.
- Click the three-dot menu.
- Select "Shortcut" to add it.
5. Add a Shortcut to a Folder or File
- Right-click on the folder or file you want to add.
- Select "Shortcut" from the context menu.
6. View and Access Shortcuts
- Hover on the Shortcut tab from the top navigation.
- Click on any items in the list to quickly access it.
7. Reorder Shortcuts
- Click the settings icon.
- Hold and drag the drag icon to rearrange the items in your preferred order.
8. Remove a Shortcut
- Hover the shortcut you want to remove.
- Click the "X" icon next to it to delete it from the list.
9. Using Filters as Shortcut
Shortcuts aren’t limited to items—you can also save filters as shortcuts.
For example, after applying a specific filter combination such as:
- Job type
- Assigned executor
- Group
- Status like "Waiting"
You can:
- Click Save Filter to Presets
- Name the preset
- Choose to save it as a shortcut
You can also share presets with:
- Other users
- The entire workspace
Once saved, the preset appears in the Shortcuts tab, allowing quick access to frequently used views—such as a recurring job list for a specific person.
10. Adding Existing Presets as Shortcuts
There’s another way to turn presets into shortcuts:
- Go to Workspace Settings
- Open Categorization
- Navigate to the Presets section
- Click the star icon on a preset to add it as a shortcut
The preset will then appear in the Shortcuts tab.
