If you need to download entire folders containing multiple important files instead of saving them one by one, you can speed up your workflow by using JDownloader 2 (JD2), a free and reliable download manager that supports batch downloads.
Follow these steps to get started:
1. Download JDownloader 2
- Go to the JDownloader website and download the installer that matches your operating system.
- Run the installer and follow the setup process.
- Once installed, open JD2.
2. Enable the “Folder Watch” Extension
- In JD2, open the Settings tab in the top-left corner.
- Click on "Settings".
- Scroll down to the bottom and select “Extension Modules”.
- Look for “Folder Watch” in the list.
- Click “Install now”
- Once the installation finishes, click Restart.
- After JD2 restarts, check the box next to Folder Watch to activate it.
3. Download the Folder from Reports.re
- In Reports, right-click on the folder you want to download.
- Select “Download with JD 2”.
- The file will be downloaded.
4. Start the Download in JD2
- Open the downloaded file with JD2.
- Go to the LinkGrabber tab.
- Right-click on the folder you want to download to open the context menu.
- Select “Start Downloads”.
- The files will be downloaded to the destination folder set in JD2.
