How to Configure Outlet Billing

Outlet Billing allows you to control which outlets remain active and functional inside your workspace.

Through the billing system, you can:

  • Activate outlets
  • Archive unused outlets to save money
  • Pay for active and archived outlets using your workspace balance

If the outlets are not paid, the outlets will stop functioning.

To activate outlets and pay for them

  • Go to Workspace Settings from the left navigation panel
  • Select Billing
  • Open My Services
  • You will see the Billing section

How Outlet Billing Works

1. Refill and Verify Your Workspace Balance

Before activating outlets, you must first add funds to your workspace balance.

Use the same refill process you normally use for other Reports.re tools and services.

Once the refill is completed, the funds will appear in your workspace account balance. Make sure the balance is sufficient before continuing with outlet activation.

2. Configure Outlet Quantity

Inside My Services, click on Outlets.

A window will appear where you can manage the outlet quantity for both the current billing period and the next month.

You can configure:

Current Quantity

Sets how many outlets should become active immediately for the current billing period.

Next Month Quantity

Sets how many outlets you want to keep active for the next billing cycle. This helps prepare outlet capacity in advance.

For example:

  • Current outlet quantity: 1
  • New current quantity: 2
  • Next month quantity: 4

This means:

  • One additional outlet will become active immediately
  • The workspace will automatically prepare billing for 4 active outlets next month

3. Calculate and Confirm Billing

After configuring the outlet quantity, click Calculate.

The system will display:

  • The amount due for the current billing period
  • The total estimated cost for the next month based on the selected outlet quantity

After reviewing the calculation, click Confirm to process the payment.

If the workspace balance has enough funds:

  • The new outlet quantity will be activated immediately
  • The next scheduled outlet quantity, next payment due date, and payment amount will also be displayed.

Permissions Requirement

To manage outlet billing and process outlet payments, a workspace member must have Billing permissions enabled.

Without billing permissions, users will not be able to access or manage outlet services unless you are workspace Owner.

What Happens If Outlet Billing Is Not Paid

If outlet billing is inactive or unpaid:

  • The outlet will stop functioning
  • Publishing to platforms will no longer work
  • Outlet-related features may become unavailable

Archived Outlets

What Are Archived Outlets?

Archived outlets allow you to keep historical outlet records without keeping the outlet fully active.

This is useful for preserving references such as:

  • Cards
  • Files
  • Previously posted content records

Archived Outlet Limitations

Archived outlets have limited functionality.

Archived outlets:

  • Cannot publish to platforms
  • Will not update analytics
  • Will have previous analytics deleted
