In Reports.re, projects often contain files that have already been created but haven’t been published yet. To ensure no asset gets missed, the platform offers powerful filtering tools that help you quickly locate and manage unpublished files.
This guide will walk you through how to find these files using filters in the Files section by status, task type, group, or file type.
1. Open the Files Section
- Click on "Files" from the left navigation panel.
This opens the full list of files associated with your workspace.
2. Filter by Status: Not Used in Posts
- In the filter toolbar, hover the "Status" menu item located right to "Content Type" and left to "Three dots" menu item.
- Choose "Files" as the category in left sidebar of the "Publication status" menu window.
- Select "Not used in posts".
You will see all files that have not been used in any posts yet.
3. Filter by Task
Use this to narrow the results to files created under a specific task type.
- Go to the "Task" filter.
- Select a task type (e.g., Video Edition).
You will now see only unpublished files created within the selected task.
4. Filter by Group
Filter files by group to focus on a specific group.
- Go to the "Group" filter.
- Choose a group (e.g., Sir Zane Vlog).
You will see unpublished files that belong to that specific group.
5. Combine Task and Group Filters
Use both filters together for a more targeted result.
- Apply both the Task and Group filters.
- For example, select "Video Edition" and "Sir Zane Vlog".
You will now see only files from that task within the selected group that are still unpublished.
6. Filter by File Type
Narrow the list to a specific file type, such as video, image, or audio.
- Go to the "Tag" filter.
- Under File Type, select "Video".
Some of these files may already be published to specific platforms.
Others have not been published at all.
Conclusion
By combining filters like status, task, group, and file type, you can easily find unpublished files in your workspace and avoid overlooking valuable assets. This process ensures that every approved piece of content is tracked, managed, and published where it’s needed, helping your team stay organized and efficient.
