Projects often involve multiple tasks handled by different executors. Each task may have its own cost or earnings, and these amounts can add up over time. Reports.re helps you track executor earnings, expenses, and payouts through the Statements section. This makes it easier to understand how payments are calculated and monitor task-related costs.
Follow the steps below to view and understand statements in Reports.re.
1. Open the Finances Section
- In the sidebar menu, go to "Workspace Settings" and click on "Finances".
2. Access the Statements Tab
- In the Finances section, click the "Statements" tab.
- This page lists the monthly billing statements for each executor, along with their financial summaries.
3. View a Specific Statement
Click on an executor's statement to open it.
The top of the page provides a summary of the executor's earnings and payout status for the selected month.
The statement includes:
- Total Balance – The executor's overall balance for the month.
- Payout Balance – The amount ready to be paid.
- Pending Earnings – Earnings that are not yet counted because related tasks have not been completed.
4. Understand the Statement Summary
The summary explains how the total balance was calculated:
- Previous Balance – Balance carried over from the previous period.
- Current Earnings – Earnings generated during the current period.
- Pending Earnings – Earnings from tasks that have not yet been completed.
- Payouts – Amounts that have already been paid.
- Returned Earnings – Earnings removed from canceled or reverted items.
This breakdown provides a clear view of how the payout balance is calculated.
5. Review Payout Information and Detailed Breakdown
Further down the page, you'll find payout information and a detailed breakdown of all transactions included in the statement.
Payout Information
Displays payout records made to the executor, including the total amount paid during the selected period.
All Transactions
Displays both completed and canceled items, showing the executor's net earnings after any cancellations.
Returned Earnings
Shows canceled items and any earnings that were returned or deducted.
Recorded Earnings
Lists all completed items for the selected month and their total earnings.
Pending Earnings
Shows items that have not yet been completed. These earnings are not included in the current month's income until the work is finished.
