Add Audio to Videos with Batch Audio Overlay

Quickly apply or replace audio across multiple video files without opening them one by one. With Batch Audio Overlay, you can streamline your workflow and keep everything organized.

1. Select Your Files

  • Go to the file manager.
  • Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) and click to select all the video files you want to overlay.
  • Also select the audio file(s) you want to use.
  • Once selected, right-click and choose "Overlay Audio".
  • The overlay audio window will appear.

2. Set Inherited Tags

  • Select which tags to inherit from the original video files.
  • Enable "Remember selection for this device" if you want your choice saved on your device.

3. Assign New Output Tags

To tag your new files:

  • Add new tags that aren't present in the original files (e.g., a “Blend” File Info tag).
  • The newly added tag will be set as the primary tag by default. You can change this by clicking the thumb icon next to the tag.

4. Configure Audio Settings

Loop Audio: Repeat the music to match the length of the video (prevents silent parts).

Keep the Audio in Input Video: If enabled, original video audio will play together with the selected music. Uncheck this to replace the original audio completely.

Shuffle Audio Tracks: If you select multiple audio files, enabling this will randomize the playback order. Each video will have a different sequence of background music.

For example, Video 1 might play audio 3 → 1 → 2, while Video 2 might play audio 2 → 3 → 1.

5. Add or Manage Files

  • Review the list of selected video and audio files.
  • Reorder audio tracks by dragging them.
  • Click Add Files to include more video or audio files.
  • In the File Manager, you can search within the selected card.
  • or search across your entire workspace.
  • Select individual files by clicking on them.
  • or you can also select all files within a folder
  • Click Save to confirm.
  • This applies to both video and audio files.

6. Start the Export

  • Click Export to begin the overlay process.

7. Check Results

  • Go to the Video editing projects Section
  • A separate project will be created for each video file.
  • New files will be stored in the same Card and Task as the originals so everything stays neatly organized.
